Jackie Kim has been in the event and concert industry for her entire career, for over 10 years. After graduating with a degree in Mass Communication from a university in Korea, she pursued a training program for advertising researchers due to her passion for events. Following that, she joined several event companies in Korea, where she worked in the events industry for about 5 years.

In 2015, she joined the Korean radio station Radio Korea in Los Angeles, USA, where she worked as a producer. During her time there, she successfully produced and aired several radio programs, and also managed major event productions such as High Teen Korea and golf tournaments, which are considered long-standing and prestigious events.

In 2017, she joined M Production, where she supervised and managed events for institutions and companies such as Okta and Pacific City Bank. In 2018, she oversaw the overall promotion and operation of Lee Moon-sae's concert at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, which attracted an audience of over 5,000 people.

In 2020, Jackie was preparing to establish her own company. However, due to the pandemic, the events industry faced significant challenges. Jackie viewed this crisis as an opportunity and spent two years working in design, video production, and social media marketing, further honing her creative and professional skills.

In February 2022, Jackie established Planus and has since built a strong reputation in the industry by organizing events of all types and scales, ranging from small private gatherings to large conventions. In particular, for the KCON LA Convention (hosted by CJ ENM) in 2023 and 2024, she led on-site operations at the LA Convention Center, managing nearly 70 staff members to ensure seamless event execution.

Planus has established a strong network within the Los Angeles event industry and is actively collaborating with Korean event companies to support local operations across the United States.
